Feature: Source agencies
Reports are now browseable by agency.
Building on the new California out of state searches report (more info), a few other reports now also have source agency information. This will allow you to see (and filter) the organization where the search was seen.

In the example above, the “Searching agencies” (formerly “agency” or “organization”) is the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission. The “Source organization” is the Huffman Independent School District in Texas. This search has been reported by more than one agency (+1); which one(s) can be seen by hovering over the “+1” or expanding the result.
This tells you at a glance that Florida Fish and Wildlife was looking for civil immigration violations in Texas schools.
Additionally, a “Source agencies” filter is available with the regular filters.
In many cases the source agency and searching agency will be the same. This happens when the source of the search record is an organization audit log or a transparency portal search log. Only network logs will show different source and searching agencies. Read more about the difference.
A “Networks” column has also been added to the reports. It is enabled by default. In this case, it shows that Fish & Wildlife searched a total of 5,076 networks for immigrants, but, beyond the two that we know of, we don’t know which other 5,074 networks were included in this search.
Adding the networks column was necessary because Flock has decided to remove the number of devices searched from log files—a decision that may have something to do with Flock using 250,000+ cameras for an “ICE detainer” search late last year.
