Footnote4a is the editorial publication of haveibeenflocked.com, an independent transparency project tracking the deployment and use of Flock Safety and other roadside surveillance networks (including "Automated License Plate Reader" [ALPR] devices).

We obtain government records, analyze audit logs, and report on the policy and legal fights over privatized mass surveillance that's occurring under the banner of public safety.
