West Seneca is a town in Erie County, New York. This post covers two types of Flock audit records from the West Seneca Police Department spanning July 2024 through July 2026: operator searches run by West Seneca personnel, and searches through the Flock network. Both datasets were obtained through a FOIL request covering roughly 25 months.

Network operator names are redacted in the export — all 15.85 million network reads show *** in the name field.

#Reasons (Organization only)

Reasons are entered free-form, so the same concept appears under many spellings. The table below shows the top entries from the org audit as recorded.

#Anomalies

#April 2026 spike

The week of April 13, 2026 shows 898 org searches — more than four times the typical weekly volume and the highest single org-search week in the dataset. Network reads that same week (230,502) fall within normal range, which makes a camera or data extraction artifact unlikely. No obvious explanation appears in the reason field data.

#Network data trailing off

The last three weeks of the network export (June 29 – July 20, 2026) show sharply lower counts: 68,216, 10,810, 9,677, and 859 compared to a steady weekly average above 200,000 in the preceding months. This likely reflects an incomplete export for July rather than an actual drop in camera activity.
